Born into the rich cultural heritage of India, Shrimi was brought up to appreciate the things that matter most.

Surrounded by a close-knit extended family that treasured togetherness and shared experiences, she exhibited a remarkable passion for acknowledging and preserving special moments from a very young age. Whether it was capturing family gatherings, memorable holidays, or simple everyday joys, she always found a way to make these moments feel extraordinary. Known for her perfectionist tendencies and her ability to take initiative, she embraced her love for creativity and an insatiable sense of adventure! These exceptional qualities, coupled with her natural talents for storytelling and artistic expression, ultimately converged to inspire the creation of Happily Desserted, a venture that would allow her to share her unique vision with the world.

Shrimi did not start off as a professional baker but rather a much different route

After completing her Bachelor's degree in English Literature, she decided to take her education a step further by pursuing a Master's in Business Administration. This academic endeavor immersed her in the corporate world for several years, where she honed her skills and gained valuable insights into business dynamics. However, life took an exciting turn when she and her husband made the bold decision to move to The States. This significant international relocation, coupled with the joyous arrival of their lovely daughter, provided the perfect backdrop for her to embrace a new chapter as a dedicated mom. As her daughter transitioned into toddlerhood, Shrimi felt an undeniable spark of inspiration to channel her creativity and love for baking by launching her own company. Leveraging her educational background in business and marketing, she was able to elevate her skills to new heights, ultimately leading to the birth of her delightful venture, Happily Desserted!


Shrimi continues to passionately pursue her culinary dreams, constantly seeking to learn, grow, and challenge herself with each new recipe and technique she experiments with. Her unwavering focus is on providing her customers with nothing but the finest, purest ingredients in every delicious, made-from-scratch creation. Shrimi has always believed that desserts should be a source of joy, and it is essential to her that her customers can indulge in their sweet treats without the burden of guilt associated with processed foods laden with preservatives and other questionable ingredients.

Shrimi, the owner, is extremely detail-oriented which I loved!

Her knowledge about baking and decorating the cake was very helpful since this was my first custom cake and I needed her advice on certain decisions for the cake. Lastly, the cake and cake pops were ready for pick up at the time we agreed to and looked great! The cake was moist and had a yummy vanilla flavor!
